Fans Interview: Pirate1985

Fans Interview: Pirate1985

How long have you been following Rovers and what was your first game?

I have been following Rovers since the late 80`s early 90`s era. I can not remember my first game unfortunately (goldfish springs to mind!)

What is your most memorable moment following the gas?

Best?

I have to say the promotion don`t I?

Worst?

Being at the pits of the 4th tier and feeling like we were going under. Depressing times!

Who is your all time favourite player?

Umm hard one but it must be Vitalijs Astafjevs.

What would you say is the best goal you have seen us score?

Walker lob at Wembley!! Pure quality!

Best away ground visited?

Must be Ewood Park (not with Rovers unfortunately) with Rovers, tough choice but id have to say Elland road

What are your thoughts on the proposed new stadium?

I will believe it when im in it…

Which player(s) would you like to see us sign (realistically)?

Already seen us sign Duffy, which is great. I would like to see us sign maybe another decent striker and a midfielder with attacking creativity. I think it is of paramount importance to get one to feed our strikers! Andy Robinson would have been nice ? (Interviewed before Hughes signed)

Which player would you like to see leave the club?

I suppose Haldane would have to go next.

What are your thoughts on how last season ended and how did it compare to your expectations?

All I wanted was to finish outside of the relegation battle which we did. Anything else was a bonus.

What are your expectations for next season?

With the new players, I expect a comfortable finish. 10th minimum!

Where do you sit at the Ground?

I actually just turn up and pay on the door, sometimes im in the bass, other times im in the uplands and sometimes in the DAS Terrace. Go where the fairies guide me.

Name the celebrity you would most like to bang.

Penelope Cruz! Most gorgeous thing Ive ever seen! (Except my misses - sorry, but I does love you me babber)
