'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Fans Interview: Jozer

How long have you been following Rovers and what was your first game?

A home game v Bournemouth in 1972 (ish?). I always remembered it as being a 2-2, but according to the records we lost 2-1.

What is your most memorable moment following the gas?

Worst:
Losing at home to Kidderminster under Graydoom, and knowing for absolute certain for the last 20 minutes that we were going to lose.

Best:
Hartlepool away in 2007. Best atmosphere ever.

Who is your all time favourite player?

Favourite player:
Alan Warboys

Best Player:
Mark Walters

Worst:
Moussa 'offside' Dagnogo

What would you say is the best goal you have seen us score?

Jamie Curaton's 'face-in' at Walsall 98/99.

Best away ground visited?

Maine Road. For 90 minutes It was like Rovers were a Premiership side.

What are your thoughts on the proposed new stadium?

99% sure it will not happen.

Which player(s) would you like to see us sign (realistically)?

Jason Scotland would fire us into the Championship.

Which player would you like to see leave the club?

The person I would like to see leave Rovers is not a player.

What are your thoughts on how last season ended and how did it compare to your expectations?

Very disappointed that the team, and club, gave up and settled for survival.

What are your expectations for next season?

Mid-table, and a mini-run in one of the cups.

Where do you sit at the Ground?

Stand at the Home end near the pasty hut.

Name the celebrity you would most like to bang

A threesome with my wife and Celia Imrie* would make my life complete.

*Ideally the 1985 model.
