Fans Interview: Bedminster Law Gas

Fans Interview: Bedminster Law Gas

How long have you been following Rovers and what was your first game?

First game was against Derby in 1992 at Twerton, we lost 3-2 after being 2-1 up at half time. I didn`t start going regularly until 2 years later when my uncle took me to see us beat Shrewsbury 4-0, I remember going home and telling my Dad and Grandad all about it and they took me the following week to us beat Wycombe and a love affair was born.

What is your most memorable moment following the gas?

There have been quite a few Wembley obviously stands out as do the wins over the City but I`d probably go for Hartlepool away in the promotion season. A gang of us hired a car which BS5 Bod drove and we headed up North, it was just a great atmosphere and a superb finish to the regular season. Notable mention needs to go to Barnet that season, that`s where I plucked up the courage to, 'ask out` a girl who is now my fiancée

Worst:

Wycombe - May 2nd 2001

Best:

Probably that Hartlepool game.

Who is your all time favourite player?

Barry Hayles

Best Player:

Probably Barry

Worst:

So many, Kevin Gall immediately springs to mind but I`d probably go with Moussa Dagnogo (?) what was that all about?

What would you say is the best goal you have seen us score?

I`d like to say Lambo at Luton but I was outside in the queue to get in! So, I`d have to say Lambo v Swindon or Cureo v Crewe

Best away ground visited?

Derby County

What are your thoughts on the proposed new stadium?

Yeh right!

Which player(s) would you like to see us sign (realistically)?

A central midfielder who can score 10 goals a season and assist with around 20. Anyone know where he is?

Which player would you like to see leave the club?

I`m happy Haldane is gone, so it would have been him, now I`m not so sure there is anyone winning one of our last 16 (I think) was pretty poor.

What are your thoughts on how last season ended and how did it compare to your expectations?

It met what I expected to happen, although the fashion in which it occurred was disappointing.

What are your expectations for next season?

Top ten at least

Where do you sit at the Ground?

I stand in the Blackthorn End with Dr F and Mesa.

Name the celebrity you would most like to bang:

Oh, I`m still at the 'in love` stage of my relationship so the only person I would most like to bang is my Mrs.
