Dorman In Move Shock

Dorman In Move Shock

New Bristol Rover loan signing Andy Dorman had a shock after agreeing to a two month loan deal.

When the 29 year old agreed to the loan deal he thought he would be dropping down one division and be playing in League One, so he had a shock when he found out Rovers were now in League Two. The 29-year-old said: "If I`m being honest I thought they were still in League One.

"But I`ve got that chance to move them up the table and I`m just looking forward to playing and doing well."

The central midfielder made 23 appearances for Crystal Palace last season in the Championship and also played in the MLS for New England Revolution, before spending two years with St Mirren where he scored 24 goals in 107 games. Dorman is expected to make his debut for Rovers in Saturdays First Round F.A Cup tie against non league Corby Town.
