Lund Loaned To Rovers

Bristol Rovers have today completed the loan signing of Stoke City midfielder Matthew Lund.

Lund joins Rovers on a one month loan deal from Premiership side Stoke City. The 21 year old has been out on loan this season already with League One side Oldham Athletic, he made two starts and one sub appearance whilst on loan. The 5'7" midfielder also had a loan spell with Hereford United last season.

Lund graduated through the Academy set-up at Crewe before moving to Premiership side Stoke City in the summer of 2009. He has been in impressive form for the reserves side at Stoke City and scored a hat-trick in a reserve game against Portsmouth, he also set up two goals in the same game. Lund was called up to the Northern Ireland Under 21 side for the first time in February 2011
