Jo Kuffour Released By Gillingham

Former Bristol Rovers striker Jo Kuffour has been released by Gillingham.

The striker only signed for Gillingham in January after spending time on loan with the club. The 30 year old scored 9 goals in 26 appearances, but 7 of his goals came in his first 11 games whilst he was still on loan.

Kuffour spent three and a half years with Rovers and scored 35 goals in his 139 appearances for Rovers. Jo will now be looking for his eighth club of his career having had spells with Swindon Town, Torquay, Brentford, Bournemouth and was a Trainee at Arsenal.
