Oxford Knock Back Rovers Second Constable Bid

Oxford United have rejected a second offer from Bristol Rovers for striker James Constable.

Rovers improved offer is believed to be around 180,000 for the 27 year old, but Oxford Chairman Kelvin Thomas has said the offer was 'to small'. I'ts thought Oxford are holding out for close to the 225,000 that Swindon had accepted last season.

Its not sure if Rovers will return with a third offer for the striker or turn their attentions to another target.
