Rovers Closing In On Lund
Mark McGhee is closing in on the loan signing of Stoke City midfielder Matthew Lund.
Rovers are hoping to seal a deal to bring Lund back to Rovers on a season long loan deal. The 21 year old joined Rovers on loan in January and saw out the remainder of the season with Rovers making nine starts for Rovers with a further four appearances from the bench. Lund scored twice whilst on loan.
Lund was signed from Crewe in the summer of 2009 and has also had loan spells at Hereford and Oldham.
