1)How long have you been a Rovers fans?
Since I was about 13/14. First game I can remember was an away game at Dean Court in (I guess) 1999.
2)Mark McGhee, your opinion please?
So far so good. Has a tremendous reputation for a club of our stature so am fully trusting him for the season ahead.
3)Best and worst moments of last season?
Erm, best would probably be the optimism of a good season ahead after the first league game and a gutsy win over AFC Wimbledon. There are far more bad moments!
4)What will your opinion of the board be if they deliver The New Mem as promised?
Well I'll assume that 'as promised' means that the CLUB own it and that the CLUB are debt free afterwards. If that happens then Mr Higgs would deserve a knighthood frankly as I cannot see for the life of me where the money can come from in order to achieve it. I suspect it's a play on words since technically 'the club' is already free of debt, and I'm guessing a similar structure will be in place - the one that allows Dunford and his stooges to get their money back on demand.
5)Which players should Rovers look to sign over the summer?
I have no idea, but there are a lot required! Good test for McGhee of how closely he has been monitoring the football league while out of work; there are always bargains to be had on free transfers and it's been a long time since we had a manager able to take advantage of them, rather than paying over the odds for crap.
6)Which player would you happily drive to his new club to get rid?
I'm not sure there are that many that I dislike; they all seem fairly hard working, and any of the players I'd have driven away myself have left over the past year...
7)Favourite current player?
I'm not sure I have one. Sad to say but this is probably the first time I've never had a favourite in the squad. I like Lee Brown, tidy player and was a good signing by Buckle.
8)Favourite all time player?
Lord Lambert of Horfield. Chuffed that he will get the chance to show the nation what is Gasheads already know this coming season. Top player and top man.
9)Where do you expect to see us finish next season?
Playoff places. Anything less would be a failure given our budget in comparison to our peers, but it could take another season for Mark McGhee to really shape his squad since we have at least a further year of most of Buckle's signings.
10)Given the opportunity is there any question from the Club you would like to know the answer to?
There used to be a time when I'd love to have had the opportunity to ask the board a few things, but I've become so apathetic toward them that I'm not really sure I care any more. I'd love to ask Nick Higgs why the hell he employs that amateur Kirsty though.
11)And finally Which celebrity/s would you most like to meet and why?
Freddie Flintoff. Absolute legend on the cricket pitch and would be an absolute blast to share a pint with. Would also love the opportunity to chat to Brian Lara, Sachin Tendulkar, Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson & especially Adam Booth who is one of the greatest boxing tacticians ever. I would also love to meet Buakaw Banchamek but I highly doubt anyone who reads this will know who he is!
