Marcus Stewart Back At Rovers

Marcus Stewart is back at Bristol Rovers as Youth/Development coach.

Stewart comes in to the role as coach bolstering Rovers back room staff after Jamie Fullerton left to join Crystal Palace. Rovers are still looking for a replacement for Fullerton. Stewart started his career at Rovers back in 1991 and went on to make 171 starts for Rovers an scored 79 times, he also made a further 36 appearances from the bench. Stewart left Rovers in 1996 for 1.2 million to join Huddersfield.

He went on to play in the Premiership for Ipswich and Sunderland before joining local rival Bristol City. Stewart finished his career with Exeter City, making his final appearance as a sub against Bristol Rovers and did some coaching work with Exeter City.
