Clarkson Signs

Dave Clarkson has signed for Bristol Rovers subject to a medical.

The former Bristol City striker has agreed a two year deal with Rovers. Clarkson has been training with Rovers for aroun two weeks now and scored in Rovers 2-2 draw with Weston. The 26 year old spent two season with City scoring 11 goals in 67 appearances, 38 of his appearances came from the bench.

Clarkson played under McGhee at Scottish side Motherwell where he scored 56 goals in around 240 appearances. In his last season with Motherwell he scored 14 goals in 38 appearances before City paid a reported 800000 for the striker.
