Kenneth Agrees To Join Rovers

Centre back Garry Kenneth has agreed to join Rovers subject to him passing a medical.

The 25 year old has agreed a three year deal with the club after running down his contract with Scottish Premiership side Dundee United. Kenneth has represented Scotland at Under 19, Under 21 and has two full International caps. The 6' 4' defender was subject to bids from Championship side Blackpool and Birmingham back in 2010, but his club then Dundee United rejected the £500,000 offers as they rated Kenneth around the £2 million mark.

Kenneth is the second centre back to join this week after Faroese international Rogvi Baldvinsson signed from Norwegian side Ålgård FK.
