Iain Turner To Play Against City

Iain Turner will today play in goal for Bristol Rovers in the Louis Carey Testimonial against Bristol City.

Turner will be on trial for Rovers in today game, he has also had a trial with League One side Swindon Town. The former Everton shot stopper has just been released from Preston North End after losing his place as first choice keeper due to picking up an injury.

The 6'3" Keeper has represented Scotland six times and has also played for the Scotland B side, Under 21's, Under 18's andUder 16's. Last season he spent a short time on loan at Scottish side Dunfermline Athletic. He has also had spells at Coventry City, Crystal Palace, Notts Forest and Doncaster Rovers. Its understood that Di Canio will be at todays game watching Turner as the Swindon Manager is still keen on signing him.
