Branston Signs For Rovers

Defender Guy Branston has joined Rovers on loan until January 1st.

The centre back arrives from League Two side Aldershot Town and has made just five appearances for the club. The 33 year old has had 15 clubs during his career so far, including Rotherham, Oldham, Peterborough and Torquay. He was a transfer target for Rovers last season when Paul Buckle was in charge, but moved to Bradford City.

Rovers have centre backs Tom Parkes and Cian Bolger both out injured. Branston will team up with Rovers tomorrow for training and will be included in the team for the home game against his former club Bradford City.
