Kenneth Out For Nine Months

Bristol Rovers have been rocked by the news that Central defender Gary Kenneth will be out for nine months due to injury.

Rovers Captain has damaged his anterior cruciate ligament during Saturday`s 2-0 defeat to Gillingham. The 25 year old is now set to have an operation on the injury on Friday. Rovers Manager John Ward has today confirmed that he is likely to look to sign a replacement central defender to cover.

Ward has already brought in 28 year old Mark McCrystal and has also had a bid knocked by Leicester City for Cian Bolger.
