Performance Of The Week For Rovers

Bristol Rovers 3-0 away win over Fleetwood Town has been voted as performance of the week.

The League Managers Association five-man Performance of the Week panel is LMA Chairman Howard Wilkinson, Sir Alex Ferguson, Joe Royle, Dave Bassett and Barry Fry. Goals from Danny Woodards, Eliot Richard and loan man John Joe O'Toole gave Rovers the impressive win over play off hopefuls Fleetwood. Rovers fielded a youthful side in the win including striker Ellis Harrison who made his first start for the club.

Rovers will hope to build on last Saturdays win when they take on Exeter City at The Memorial Stadium on Saturday. Bristol Rovers manager John Ward will receive a specially engraved crystal football in a presentation to commemorate the award.
