Ward Praises Brunt

John Ward has heaped praised on striker Ryan Brunt.

The 19 year old has made a major impact since arrival from Premiership side Stoke City on a two and a half year deal. The 19 year old has scored 5 times in his 10 appearances since Ward signed him. 'He's a good kid, one of the quiet guys in the dressing room but everybody's mate,' Ward told BBC Radio Bristol.
"
I've worked with a lot of teams and groups of players. This group is right up there in terms of togetherness
"
John Ward
'He's had an injury and fought back. He's got a lot of character in terms of his own strength in what he can do.'
'I like him, I've said it before - he's like a 29-year-old centre forward rather than a 19-year-old.'

Brunt scored both of Rovers goals in the 2-0 win over second placed Port Vale on Tuesday night.
