New Deal For Defender

Right back Micheal Smith has signed a new deal with Bristol Rovers.

The 24 year old has agreed a new two year deal with the club. Smith has been at Rovers since 2011 when he was signed by former manager Paul Buckle from Irish side Ballymena. Smith has made over 50 appearances since signing for the club and has been a regular in the side at right back this season making 39 appearances, he has also scored twice.

Smith is the first player to sign a new deal for next season, with other players set to do the same very soon.
