Reading goalkeeper Mikkel Andersen who spent time on loan with Rovers has moved on loan, signing for a season year long loan deal with Danish outfit Randers.

Young midfielder Jordan Goddard has signed a new one year deal with the club, the 20 year old has made just one appearance so far for Rovers in the 3-1 F.A Cup win over Corby in November 2011. He has also spent time on loan at Gloucester City.

Another player staying is German winger Fabian Broghammer who has signed a new deal with Rovers, Story Here

Rovers have added Championship side Reading to their pre-season programme, they will play them at The Memorial Stadium on Sunday 28th July with a 3pm kick off. They are also playing Bristol City four days earlier.

Some sad news now, Bristol Rovers kit man Roger Harding is critically ill in hospital. Roger has been with Rovers for over 10 years and is a well liked member of the back room staff, he known by Rovers fans as Uncle Albert. Our thoughts are with Roger and his family.
