A few ex players on the move this week

Former Bristol Rovers striker Jamie Cureton has signed for League Two rivals Cheltenham Town after leaving Exeter City. Former Defender Chris Carruthers has signed for Corby Town from Hereford United. Goalkeeper Nick Culkin who spent a season on loan with Rovers has joined Northwich Victoria and Dominic Blizzard has left Yeovil Town and has signed for Plymouth.

Fixtures are now out and Rovers first game is away at Exeter City, they then have a home clash against Scunthorpe United. The League Cup draw saw Rovers drawn away at Championship side Watford.

Midfielder Oliver Norburn has signed a new one year deal, Story Here.


Long serving kitman Roger Harding has sadly passed away last week.

Roger was very popular amongst players and staff and was know by the players as Dodge. Gasheads gave the kitman who served Rovers for over 11 years the nickname Uncle Albert.
