Steve Yates Back At Rovers

Former Bristol Rovers defender Steve Yates has today returned to the club as kit man.

Yates was with Rovers between 1988/1993 and made just under 200 appearances for the club securing promotion in his time with us. He moved to Queens Park Rangers joining former Manager Gerry Francis. He a;so played for Sheffield United, Tranmere Rovers, Huddersfield Town and Morecambe.

Yates was sat along side Manager John Ward tonight in Rovers 2-2 draw against Bath City, strikers Ryan Brunt and Matt Harrold were on the score sheet for Rovers.
