Ward Up For Manager Of The Month

Bristol Rovers Manager John Ward has been nominated for the League Two Manager Of The month Award for November.

Ward has picked up 8 points in November despite a long injury list including a 1-0 victory over Oxford United. Alan Curbishley who is on the panel, said: 'John has coped admirably with a horrendous injury list to inspired his side to eight points in a month.

'That run featured a fine 1-0 win at leaders Oxford United and defensive stability which saw just two goals conceded in five league games.'

John Ward will be up against Southend United manager Phil Brown, Burton manager Gary Rowett and Accrington Stanley manager James Beattie.
