Smith Joins Posh

Defender Micheal Smith has today completed his move to League One side Peterborough.

The right back joins Peterborough on a three year deal for a fee believed to be around 200, 000 plus add ons. The 25 year old was signed from Ballymena United by former manager Paul Buckle back in January 2011 and went on to be a fans favourite.

He made over 100 appearances for Rovers and scored twice. He was offered a new deal by Rovers after relegation in a bid to keep him at the club, but Smith later handed in a transfer request.

Good luck Smudger, you deserve it.
