Rovers Win

Bristol Rovers beat Gloucester City today at Whaddon Road.

Darrell Clarke gave another run out to trialists Ryan Higgins and Pierce Mitchell whilst there was also a trial game for former Accrington Stanley and Plymouth Argyle winger Romuald Boco.

Steve Mildenhall was injured to 17 year old rookie keeper Preston, Lee Mansell, McChrystal and midfielder Ollie Clarke were all ruled through injury but Ryan Brunt returned and there was also a start for latest signing Andy Monkhouse.

Rovers won the game 4-3, scoring for Rovers was Jamie White, Tom Parkes, Stuart Sinclair and Tom Lockyer. Parkes strike was a spectacular left-footed volley from distance.
