Six Changes For Rovers Cup Clash

Darrell Clarke has made six changes to the side that beat Fleetwood 3-1 on Saturday.

Oliie Clarke takes the captains armband for tonight clash. Jonny Burn and Tom Broadbent starts as the centre back pairing as Darrell Clarkes gets to have a look at the pair before the weekends clash.

Dom Telford is also handed his firs start up front. Its a very inexperianced bench tonight for Rovers.

Rovers: Sam Slocombe (GK), Marc Bola, Tom Broadbent, Jonny Burn, Joe Partington, Ollie Clarke (C), Liam Sercombe, Byron Moore, Ryan Broom, Rory Gaffney, Dominic Telford.

Subs: Alexis Andre Jr (GK), Rollin Menayese, Luke Russe, Cameron Hargreaves, James Spruce, Kunle Otudeko, Kenan Dunwald.

It's a pity managers don't treat the cup competitions with the full respect that they deserve.At the end of the day the majority of teams will end a season in the league they started in so a cup run is always a healthy thing,something for fans to dream about and progression can through up a big money spinning tie.That won't happen if weakened teams are continually selected.
