Battling Rovers Secure Another Win

Manager John Ward made one change to the side that beat Oxford away last week.

Ward brought German winger Fabian Broghammer coming in to replace Danny Woodards on the wing, Woodards dropped to the bench. Rovers created an early chance, but striker Ryan Brunt fired straight at Jordan Archer in the Wycombe goal. It was a difference Rovers performance with Rovers having to battle to keep Wycombe out. Rovers did take the lead on 35 minutes when the hard working Ryan Brunt fired home a volley from the edge of area.

The second half was a bit scrappy and Rovers had to defend well to keep Wycombe out. Former striker Jo Kuffour looked lively up front, but Rovers threw their bodies online the line to keep Rovers lead. Rovers moved up to 18th in League Two after the win. It's Rovers highest position of the season and are now seven points out of the relegation zone.

Rovers next game is home Rotherham on Tuesday night, Prices have been slashed across the ground; with terrace tickets plus the South Stand just £10 for adults and £1 for concessions (U16s, 65+ and students with a valid NUS card).
