20th April 2013

Attendance:

Home Defeat For Rovers

John Ward handed starts to midfielder Ollie Clarke and striker Eliot Richard.

Ryan Brunt and Oliver Norburn dropped to the bench for the last home game of the season against Accrington Stanley. Rovers got off to a bad start going 1-0 down inside the first two minutes, Molyneux struck a superb 30-yard free kick that goalkeeper Steve Mildenhall could only palm the shot into the roof of the net. Rovers created very few real efforts on goal, the best of the chances went to young midfielder Ollie Clarke.

Tom Parkes, Eliot Richard and sub Ryan Brunt all had efforts saved easily by the keeper. Rovers dropped to 14th in League Two after the defeat and have just one game left away at Torquay United next Saturday.
